Fostering Connections Through Focused Instruction

Capital Day Lower School includes students in Kindergarten-5th Grade. Our small class sizes allow your child to get personal attention and an education that meets their individual needs. Lower school curriculum includes all the traditional subject areas with a heavy emphasis on developing critical thinking and problem solving through literacy and mathematics. Students in the Lower School connect to the world through daily science and social studies lessons. Field trips and community service provide experiences to make learning relevant and engaging. Students are given opportunities to show what they learn in many different ways.
